Food and beverage fleet management for trucks that can’t afford downtime.

A reefer breakdown means lost product, lost revenue, and unhappy customers. Fleet Service 365 keeps every truck, every reefer unit, and every driver compliant — with VMRS-grade maintenance and dual-meter support.

The reality on site

The problems food & beverage fleets keep running into.

Reefer breakdowns destroy product
A refrigeration failure in transit means lost product, lost revenue, and a phone call to the customer. Most platforms treat the reefer unit as an afterthought — a custom field on the trailer record — instead of a first-class asset with its own meter and PM schedule.
Multi-meter assets confuse most platforms
A reefer-tractor has tractor odometer hours and reefer hours — two meters on one asset, with different service intervals. Most fleet tools bake in a single primary meter and force you to fake the second with a custom field, which kills your PM math.
CDL and food handler credentials live in different systems
Most fleet platforms handle CDL but not food handler or HACCP-related certifications. Drivers carry both. When the food handler card lapses, dispatch finds out from the customer — not the platform.
Compliance audits come from two directions
DOT and FMCSA on the vehicle side; FDA, USDA, and state health agencies on the food safety side. Two audit trails, two binders, two sets of attachments — and a lot of last-minute scrambling when the inspector shows up.
The FS365 difference

Four things food and beverage fleets get with FS365.

Multi-meter

True multi-meter support per asset.

Tractor odometer and reefer hours on the same asset, with reported and due meter readings scoped to a specific meter — no bare "due at 500" ambiguity. Service tasks know which meter they read from, so a reefer 500-hr PM never fires off the tractor odometer.

  • Two meters on one asset — odometer + reefer hours
  • Reported and due readings scoped per meter
  • PM intervals never collide between meters

Operator renewals

CDL, medical, food handler, and HACCP — one module.

Track CDL, medical card, food handler certifications, HACCP training, and any recurring credential in a first-class module — not buried in a custom field. Configure due-soon alerts in days, weeks, or months. A driver without a current food handler card is a load that doesn’t leave the dock.

  • CDL + medical + food handler + HACCP in one place
  • Configurable due-soon alerts per credential type
  • Add any recurring renewal type without a feature request

VMRS hierarchies

Separate PMs for the tractor and the reefer.

Build separate PM templates for the tractor and the reefer unit, pull repair-code reports across both. Fleet Service 365 organizes maintenance into the same three-level hierarchy commercial trucking has used for decades — Category, System, Assembly — applied independently to each meter’d asset.

  • Three-level VMRS hierarchy on tractor and reefer
  • Independent PM templates per meter
  • Repair-code reports roll up across both

Telematics

Our hardware. Your call on where to use it.

Run Fleet Service 365 with no hardware at all and log meter readings manually from a phone, or pair it with our purpose-built FS365 trackers, reefer-temperature loggers, and AI dashcams where the cold chain matters. Mix and match across your fleet — never pay for telematics on assets that don’t need it.

  • FS365 GPS, reefer-temp loggers, hardwired asset, AI dashcam
  • Run with zero hardware — manual meter entry from a phone
  • No multi-year contracts. No bundle lock-in.

Built for the way food and beverage actually works.

A few of the things food and beverage fleets tell us they actually use every week.

Multi-fuel-type support
Track diesel for the tractor and refrigeration fuel for the reefer separately — fuel cost-per-mile and cost-per-hour, side by side.
Custom fields per route & SKU
Track route, region, customer class, and product category — anything dispatch and finance need to slice the data, without waiting for a feature request.
Photos & PDFs for HACCP and FDA
Attach wash logs, sanitation reports, FDA documentation, and photos directly on the asset, the issue, or the work order. Audit-ready in two clicks.
Multi-currency for cross-border
Run divisions in different currencies for U.S., Canada, and Mexico routes inside one tenant — Fleet Service 365 was built multi-tenant-first.
Open by design

Your fleet, your AI — connect Claude or ChatGPT.

Most fleet vendors are racing to build their own AI copilot — locked to one model, sold as a premium add-on. Fleet Service 365 ships a native MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, the open standard for connecting AI assistants to live fleet data.

How we compare

Honest about where we win — and where we don't.

Fleetio
Where they win
Mature mobile app, larger integrations marketplace, solid vehicle maintenance.
Where FS365 wins
Dual-meter assets as a primitive, food-handler and HACCP credentials in a first-class operator-renewals module, native MCP.
Samsara · Motive
Where they win
Best-in-class real-time visibility on long-haul.
Where FS365 wins
Our own purpose-built FS365 hardware — including reefer-temp loggers — without multi-year bundle contracts. Pair with hardware-free assets in the same fleet.
FAQ · Food & beverage

Questions food and beverage fleets ask first.

Yes. Two meters on one asset, with reported and due readings scoped per meter. A reefer 500-hour PM never accidentally fires off the tractor odometer, and your cost-per-hour on the reefer stays clean from cost-per-mile on the tractor.
Yes. Configure renewal types for any credential — CDL, medical card, food handler card, HACCP refresher, allergen training, and any other recurring certification — with due-soon alerts in days, weeks, or months.
Yes — up to 3 trucks free, forever. No credit card required.
Today, run on our purpose-built FS365 GPS, reefer-temperature loggers, and AI dashcams — one vendor for hardware and software. Passthrough integration with Geotab, Samsara, and Motive is on the roadmap.
Photos and PDFs attach to any asset, issue, or work order — wash logs, sanitation reports, FDA documentation, DOT inspections. Both audit trails live on the same record, ready to export.
Yes. The Enterprise tier supports on-premise deployment for fleets that require it, including air-gapped environments.

Keep every truck, every reefer, and every driver compliant.

Multi-meter support, operator renewals, and audit-ready records — all in one platform, with our own purpose-built hardware available where the cold chain matters.
